Tim Ringgold is the founder of Pickleball Recovery, the podcast and website that helps the 40+ pickler to feel better faster, spending less time stiff, sore, and injured, and more time on the court doing what they love. Tim also competes as a senior pro on the APP and PPA tours as a sponsored player. Tim is currently sponsored by Gearbox, AloeMD, and PicklePlay. When he’s not on the court at a PPA tournament, you can find him at the AloeMD booth treating up to 100 people a day with their patented pain relief and recovery cream. A former recreational soccer player, Tim suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2016 which forced him into retirement. After merely running and lifting for years, Tim took a pickleball lesson where the instructor showed him all ten shots in his first lesson. The following day, Tim found his way to his local recreational courts where he played with local legend ‘Jack’ who, at the bright young age of 92, showed Tim that his best years are indeed ahead of him as an athlete. Tim lives in Southern California with his wife, two children, two dogs, and two cats.
When not on the court or on the tour, Tim stays busy as the Owner of Sonic Divinity Music Therapy Services and author of Sonic Recovery: Harness the Power of Music to Stay S.O.B.E.R. Tim is also an award winning international speaker, having shared the stage with some of the top minds on music, the brain, and personal development, including Tony Robbins. Tim was the first person to give a TEDx talk on music therapy in 2012. Tim is also a former Regional President of the American Music Therapy Association. He has provided music therapy to thousands of teens and adults to help them lower stress and reduce pain. His mission is to empower people to reach for music when they are facing stress in work or school so they can create outcomes they desire.
